Fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful woodland setting in central Sudbury Suffolk providing unique outdoor learning opportunities for children with special needs.
You would be planning and organising outdoor activities at Eden-Rose Coppice and liaising with community organisations and schools to promote activity sessions. This would involve working closely with our current SEN groups using the Coppice and working with our Forest School Leader. You would also be acting supervisor to our team of woodland maintenance volunteers and one part time staff Apprentice.
This post requires self-motivation, experience of working with children with special needs and a passion for working outdoors. You would need to be Forest School Level 3 qualified or in training. We hold regular Staff meetings and offer training courses where relevant.
The post holder must carry out his/her duties with full regard to the company’s Equal Opportunities Policy & to the company’s Health and Safety Procedures. An enhanced DBS will be required.
Hours 30 hours per week
Salary: £8.50+ per hour depending on experience
