Cancer Care With Nature is a unique concept that combines environmental stewardship, care for wildlife and a stress free retreat for those who need some special time out from an overcrowded society. We are a charity run and funded totally by volunteers.

Who can come to Eden-Rose Coppice?

Anyone is welcome. Our de-stress woodland is ideal for people living with cancer of all types and stages. It can be used for single people, family members, groups or a meeting place for people in similar circumstances. We also offer Eden-Rose for anyone seeking wellness and renewal.

Why do we need another cancer charity?

We believe provision of psychological, social and spiritual support for those living with cancer is paramount, yet there are very few places in the UK that fulfill the often requested need for a private place to escape the stress illness brings to their lives.

Cancer Care With Nature aims to offer patients and their families and carers special natural areas where they can escape, reflect and recharge their batteries.

What is Eden-Rose Coppice?

Eden-Rose Coppice is a 2 ˝ acre wildlife and nature reserve in the middle of Sudbury in Suffolk. “With Nature” is continuing to develop Eden-Rose Coppice as a safe, stress free refuge for people affected by critical illness in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex. This is just the first of many such retreats in the UK.
Supporting Eden Rose Coppice gives the local community, local groups and businesses a valuable new way to demonstrate their commitment to helping those living with cancer, promoting wildlife and woodland conservation.

When can I visit?

We started work on making Eden-Rose safe and accessible for visitors in June 2007 and hope to welcome our first visitors in August 2008. We urgently need your support to complete this work.

We hope Eden-Rose Coppice will just be the first of many With Nature retreats countrywide. The success of this first site will provide valuable insight into how, where and when we proceed with other projects. The more support you can give, the sooner we can get these underway.
